Homer Air offers a variety of flying services for our wide range of customers. From the village commuter to the lucky few who visit Alaska for their one-of-a-kind adventure, we provide a tailored, professional flight service. There’s no better way to see Alaska then from the air, soaring above the mountains, gliding past glaciers and adjacent to eagles on the wind. Our Kachemak Bay flightseeing gives you a bird’s eye view of the City of Homer, the Homer Spit, Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountains that shelter it. Marvel at Island lakes and waterfalls, and expect to see mountain goats, black bear and perhaps a whale.
Most people find a ½ hour tour a little too short, though it is available. The one-hour glacier tour is our most popular flightseeing adventure. Homer Air offers you the opportunity of a lifetime to visit the Alaska Coastal Brown Bear in his natural environment. More information can be found on the wildlife viewing page.
Accessing remote Alaska is one of our specialties at Homer Air. We have a very skilled team of experienced bush pilots required to perform off airport landings. Fly out fishing and air trekking to remote parts of the state for hiking, camping, wildlife viewing and photography are a few options.
 Our regular scheduled flight service to Seldovia, Port Graham, and Nanwalek begins at 7:00 a.m., and the last flight of the day departs at 7:00 p.m., each day of the week during the summer months. During winter when daylight hours are minimal, our scheduled flights begin at 9:00 a.m., and the last flight of the day departs at 4:00 p.m., each day of the week.
We provide service to Anchorage by charter only.
Rent an entire airplane for the time it takes you to get from where you are to where you want to go within the state of Alaska. The hourly cost for charters includes the pilot, gas, and anything required for operation of the aircraft. It can be economical and certainly more convenient than other means of transportation. You’ll have the option to choose your departure time and route of flight. A charter allows you to travel directly from point A to point B without making extra stops or switching airplanes. Charter prices are specific to the particular flight.
