Katmai Coastal Camp Airtrek
2 days 1 night

Depart Homer in the early afternoon on a scenic flight over volcanoes and glaciers to the East coast of the Katmai or Lake Clark National Park. Spend the rest of the afternoon bear viewing, watching other wildlife, fishing, hiking and enjoying the parks. Depart to another location within the park to camp for the night and enjoy dinner on a volcanic island, offshore reef island or an isolated beach along the coast. The next morning hike around, beach comb and explore the coast after breakfast. Depart and arrive back in Homer around noon.

Katmai Coastal Camp and Kachemak Bay State Park Airtrek
2 days 1 night / or 3 days 2 nights

The first part of this airtreking tour is the same as the Katmai coastal camp airtrek. The next morning depart Katmai after breakfast and airtrek over to the Kachemak Bay State Park where you will kayak up to and around the toe of one of the largest glaciers in the lower Kenai Mountain range and experience an entirely different eco system and environment. Return to Homer that evening or camp on the beach in Kachemak Bay State Park and return to Homer the following day around noon.
